CBSE PMT Result 2011

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the All India Pre Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) 2011 for admissions to MBBS/BDS.The Preliminary examination held on 3rd April 2011 and final examination will be on May 15, 2011 .

The result of Preliminary Examination is declared on April, 14 and the same is hosted on Board’s website. Candidates qualified for the Final  Examination would be issued a separate admit card indicating new roll number and other relevant details.

Out of a total of 2,21,867 students registered for the exam, 2,07,590 have appeared in the Preliminary exam. A total of 26,060 candidates have qualified for the main exam to be held on May 15.

The result of Final Examination will be declared by 1st week of June, 2011 and the same will be hosted on Board’s website. Board will prepare the merit list/wait list as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS and MCI.

Counselling will be conducted via video-conferencing and personally in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. The seats in medical colleges will be allotted by the directorate general of health services, ministry of health and family welfare, according to rank in the counselling category and not the all-India rank.

Candidates are advised to see schedule for the allotment of MBBS/BDS seat by personal appearance on Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s website at address www.mohfw.nic.in.

Rank Letter to the successful candidates are being dispatched. Candidates are advised to see venue and schedule for the allotment of MBBS/BDS seat by personal appearance through Video Conferrencing on Ministry of Health &Family Welfare’s website at www.mohfw.nic.in.

Follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin(Counselling) Candidates have qualified under various categories on the basis of the Category he/she was eligible for appearing in the final stage examination.

There will be no separate result list of SC/ST candidates. As soon as the result is ready, it will be sent to National Dailies for publication. CBSE will continue to send results/Rank letters to the meritorious/wait listed candidates through Speed post/Registered post/Courier depending on the circumstances.

Rechecking of Marks

The machine - gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinised. There is no provision for re-cheking/re-evaluation or supply of photo copies of answer sheets for inspection to the candidates.
