Accordingly, in Paper I (Chemistry & Physics), three (3) questions from Chemistry part have been deleted. Hence these questions have not been included in the valuation and no marks have been awarded for these deleted questions to any candidate. Valuation has been based on 69 questions in Chemistry and 48 questions in Physics. The marks obtained in Chemistry part of Paper I have been multiplied by (72/69), corrected to four decimal places and is added to the marks obtained for Physics in Paper I. The above formula is applied to award proportionate marks based on the score of the candidate for the questions considered for evaluation (excluding deleted questions) and to compensate the loss of marks for the deleted questions.
